Gameplay Programmer, IO Interactive

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark Are you ready to take the chance of joining a team of very experienced gameplay programmers and content providers shaping a great new game concept? As a gameplay programmer you are responsible for implementing the gameplay features of our Hitman game. You will join the core gameplay team and work closely together with game designers, level designers, animators and tech programmers not just to make the game come alive on the screens but to make it an awesome and fun experience. At IO Interactive you will get the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology together with skilled and dedicated colleagues in a great working environment. Job Responsibilities Program features in areas such as game mechanics, animations, AI, hero and NPCs. Work cross-disciplinary with content providers, tech programmers and testers to obtain the right solution in a satisfactory quality. Required Skills A strong passion for computer games. Bachelorā€™s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent. At least 3 years of professional gameplay programming experience. Profound skills in C++ and some knowledge in C#/.NET. Well-founded in mathematics. Expertise within object-oriented analysis and design. Experience in control schemes, in-game UI, animations, or AI systems. Good understanding of programming best-practices. A team worker who actively seeks collaboration to find the optimal solutions. Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English. A service-minded attitude and a cooperative mindset. Of Advantage Console programming experience is preferred. Experience from a full AAA game productions cycle preferred.
