YouTube channel Shenmue Dojo has posted a rare behind-the-scenes video that documents the premiere and launch of the original Shenmue

The 13 minute video, which features interviews with game producer Yu Suzuki and footage from the Yokohama premiere, explores why the game was considered so groundbreaking when it launched all the way back in 1999.
