Today Game Developers Conference organizers would like to quickly give you a heads-up about some of the great day-long sponsored developer days from game engine makers Unity and Amazon at GDC 2016 next month.
These developer daysessions take place during the first two days of GDC: Monday and Tuesday, March 14th and 15th at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
On Tuesday, perenially popular developer day sponsor Amazon is hosting a full day of developer-oriented presentations about its new game engine Lumberyard, which is aimed specifically at game makers who want to make games that tie into complementary Amazon services like Twitch and Amazon Web Services.
The Amazon Game Development developer day sessions will afford attendees the opportunity to dive into Lumberyard with the veteran team of technologists who helped build it. Amazon will provide practical deep dives into the engine, including discussions on rendering, Cloud Canvas, Amazon GameLift, AWS integration, Twitch integration, as well as a look ahead to the future of game technology. Don't miss it!
Plus, Unity Technologies will be hosting its own great developer day on Tuesday of GDC week which will feature talks across a range of topics, from building in virtual reality to storytelling, and will highlight best practices and lessons learned from Unity engineers and game developers.
Attendees will have a chance to spend the morning with Unity's VR and animation experts, and in the afternoon learn how to optimize their work pipelines and boost player engagement with Unity Services. It's another great opportunity to chat with some of the leading engine experts in the industry.
