XSEED Games Celebrates National Melon Day with Closer Look at Multiplatform Indie Title,  Melon Journey: Bittersweet Memories

XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., released a new slideshow for its upcoming multiplatform title, Melon Journey: Bittersweet Memories, developed by indie studio Froach Club. In celebration of National Melon Day, the slideshow introduces Honeydew and Cantaloupe along with a host of the game’s quirky characters, and hints at the intrigue surrounding melon legalization in Hog Town.

What power a single melon holds! Crime and corruption abound in Hog Town where Honeydew’s friend, Cantaloupe, has gone missing from Eglantine Industries, the melon factory they both work at. As her search begins, an array of intertwining mysteries begin to unfold in this brand-new story-exploration game. Is the Cavity Crew a true threat? Is Kitten King the cause for all this? Cantaloupe will need to comb every inch of the green-tinted, pixelated world accompanied by the beats of the jazzy lo-fi soundtrack, to save the day in this monochromatic mystery set for a 2022 launch on all platforms.

Melon Journey: Bittersweet Memories is developed for Nintendo Switch™ system, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. This title has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
