World-Spanning Arclight: Azur Lane Collaboration event with SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon Goes Live with Seven New Characters

November 25th, 2021 - Shanghai, China - Naval Shoot 'Em up mobile game, Azur Lane launches a special event, “World-Spanning Arclight”, collaborating with popular Japanese anime television series SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon (produced by Tsuburaya Productions and Studio Trigger). Seven new crossover characters are added in this update. Together with the other shipgirls, they safeguard the tranquility of deepsea. Also awaiting commanders in this event are SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon featured skins, furniture set and gear skin box.

About World-Spanning Arclight
The “World-Spanning Arclight” crossover begins on November 25th and ends on December 8th. The collaboration brings the battlefield from high school campus to the marine world, and the characters from the anime series are no longer students but equipped as shipgirls fighting to defeat Siren.  
Four event maps are available, allowing commanders to fully explore the thrilling story. Commanders will obtain points when clearing the SP map. Additionally, the EX stage will also be unlocked once SP is cleared. The more points commanders accumulate, the more rewards they can redeem from the event shop. Moreover, after playing the event mini-game for 7 days, commanders can redeem a limited furniture piece.

Seven New Characters
With the fusion of robot and naval elements, seven popular characters from SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon joins Azur Lane’s world, bringing new excitement to commanders’ visual experiences.  Rikka Takarada, Akane Shinjo, Yume Minami and Chise Asukagawa are Super Rare characters that can be obtained in the Limited Construction Pool. Chise Asukagawa can also be obtained in the event shop or as a drop in the event map. Hass, Namiko, Mujina are introduced as Elite characters, with Mujina being freely given to commanders as event point milestone reward.
Event Shop and Skins
The skins of Rikka Takarada, Akane Shinjo and the other 5 collab characters have also arrived, showing casual looks of the new shipgirls in different scenarios. Additionally, the new casual skin for Bremerton is Live2D while Independence also receives a new skin during the event. Commanders can get 2 rental outfit vouchers when they login to Azur Lane during the event. The vouchers can be used on the following skins: “Blue Sky Station'' for Rikka Takarada, “A Vacation Just for Two'' for Akane Shinjo, and “A Dream Upon an Open Windowsill” for Yume Minami.
The collaboration event also comes with a brand new furniture set with the featured elements of SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon. Additionally, the Gear Skin Box (SSSS) will be available for a limited time in the event shop.
 
Black Friday Event
The exciting Black Friday event is still ongoing and will end on December 1st. Commanders who missed skins prior to June 10th, 2021 can purchase them during event time. Multiple rewards such as limited furniture, wisdom cubes, and a promise ring will also be given to commanders when they buy limited rerun skins. Don’t miss this chance!

About SSSS.Gridman
SSSS.Gridman is a Japanese anime television series adaptation of the 1993–1994 tokusatsu series Denkou Choujin Gridman. The production is a joint collaboration between Tsuburaya Productions and Studio Trigger. The story focuses on Yuta Hibiki, a first-year high school student. He meets the Hyper Agent Gridman in an old computer, who states that the boy has a mission he must fulfill, then Yuta sets out to find the meaning of those words and his memory loss.
 
About SSSS.Dynazenon
SSSS.Dynazenon is a 2021 Japanese anime television series produced by Studio Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions. It's the sequel to the 2018 anime SSSS.Gridman. The story focuses on Yomogi Asanaka, an ordinary high school boy who encounters a young man named Gauma, who proclaims himself a "Kaiju User". When the city is attacked by a kaiju, Gauma summons the giant robot Dynazenon to battle it.
