SAN DIEGO – September 6, 2022 – Psyonix, the San Diego video game developer, announced that Rocket League Sideswipe Season 5 will be live tomorrow! Season 5 will feature a new Rocket Pass, Season Challenges, and the return of Volleyball Mode in Ranked.

 

Season 5’s Rocket Pass will feature futuristic-themed content such as the Chikara G1 Car and Holo Data Goal Explosion. Like previous seasons, players can complete new Challenges to earn XP and SP. In addition, the high-flying 2v2 Volleyball Mode is returning to Ranked and will replace Hoops. Season 4 Rewards, which are Quick Chat Stickers and Titles, will also be given out following Season 5’s launch, for the highest rank the player achieved during the season.
