AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS — October 10, 2023 — It’s time to face the Glitch! During the Steam Next Fest, you can encounter the Glitch for the first time in StickyLock’s multiplayer arena shooter Histera — you have until the 16th to join the fight! In this free-to-play FPS, players must adapt to the Glitch as it transforms parts of the map in real-time, creating an ever-changing battlefield. Where will you be when the Glitch kicks in?

Glitch into the Steam Next Fest!
A demo of Histera is now available to play until October 16th during the Steam Next Fest! In matches of up to 16 players, you’ll fight in order to survive. You’ll be able to use a variety of weapons from different eras — from prehistoric bows to advanced sniper rifles. The Steam Next Fest demo will feature Glitches to futuristic and prehistoric times. For the Early Access release of the game, zones will shift between a larger variety of eras!
Those who play Histera during the Steam Next Fest will receive a free gun skin that they can use once the game is released into Early Access, so be sure to try the demo before it is too late. StickyLock will also be using the demo to gather feedback from players in preparation for the expected launch of the game in 2024.
Last week, StickyLock announced Histera, the fast-paced online shooter in which the ability to adjust your strategy on the fly will be the key to victory, for the Glitch can take place anywhere and anytime. Where you might begin the battle in the middle of a futuristic metropolis, the skyscrapers can give way to the tall, ancient trees of prehistoric times within a matter of moments, so be prepared for anything!
The Steam Next Fest will last until October 16th, so be sure to play the demo of Histera before then!
Don’t forget to wishlist Histera on Steam either:
The Glitch: adjust your strategy to take advantage of the chaos caused by the Glitch. Master different terrains in the past, present and future.
Fast and Feverish: push yourself to the limit as you rush to adapt and gain (or keep!) the advantage every time the Glitch occurs. The team that can best adapt to Histera’s unpredictable, time-distorting mosh pit will claim victory!
High replayability: with the Glitch mechanic transforming the map in the midst of the action, no two rounds of Histera will play out the same.
Mix it up: battle through prehistoric caves, a WW2 city under siege and the neon bathed streets of a dystopian metropolis wielding anything from spears to machine guns as time periods collide.
Choose your weapon: use a wide variety of weapons to withstand the chaos wrought by the Glitch — will you stay in the shadows with a prehistoric hunting bow, or get up close with The Matchstick, a futuristic shotgun that can be loaded with incendiary rounds?
Versatile: perfect for easygoing fans of the shooter genre looking for something different as well as hardcore gamers seeking their latest challenge.
