June 8, 2022: Forever Lost, the multi-million download franchise, is coming back to PC. And it’s better than ever.

Remastered by the team at Altered Gene, the game has been rebuilt to transform the original 2D masterpiece into a 3D work of art. With improvements made to the game's accessibility, players will have even more reason to become immersed in the much-loved first person puzzle adventure.

“Collaborating with Des, one of my favourite people, was one of the easiest decisions I’ve made” said Graham Ranson, Co-Chief Person at Glitch Games. “We wanted to bring the game from 2D to 3D, add a host of accessibility options, and remaster the soundtrack, but didn’t want to do the work ourselves. It’s going to be ace.”

“Collaborating with Glitch Games, on one of my favourite franchises, was one of the easiest decisions I’ve made,” said Des Gayle, CEO at Altered Gene. “We’re bringing the game from 2D to 3D, adding a host of accessibility options, and remastering the soundtrack. It’s going to be ace.”

Forever Lost will launch next summer and is available to wishlist here. For those unable to contain their excitement that long, head to Discord: Altered Gene for real-time updates, sneak peeks and more.

Notes to Editor

  • Forever Lost is a first person, puzzle adventure where you wake up in a dark, dingy room with no memory of who you are or how you got there. You have only one thought: escape. Can you piece together enough clues to get out?

  • Forever Lost tells its creepy story through an intimate environment, cryptic messages and on-the-nose puns. Examine clues and take pictures of them on your camera to use later. Puzzles lead to more puzzles, which lead to explanations...or more questions.
