Paradox Interactive | STOCKHOLM and MADRID - Aug. 16, 2022 - Paradox Interactive, a publisher and developer with plenty of games on deck, today announced the release of Across the Obelisk in partnership with Dreamsite Games as part of a new “Paradox Arc” publishing initiative within the company. Across the Obelisk, a deck-building RPG with cooperative play and rogue-lite features, is available now for all PC platforms at a discounted launch price of $14.99/£12.74/€14.99*. Across the Obelisk is a dynamic deckbuilding rogue-lite RPG from Dreamsite Games that challenges players to create a party from a diverse set of characters, engage in tactical card-based combat, and find a unique path across a world that changes in reaction to their decisions. The Paradox Arc publishing initiative is a new program within Paradox Interactive that aims to highlight unique designs and engaging games from small development teams, leveraging the publishing expertise Paradox has built over nearly 20 years of experience. “Our goal with Paradox Arc is to surprise players with games they might not have known they needed to play,” said Sebastian Forsström, Head of Paradox Arc. “We’re publishing the kind of games that suddenly appear atop your ‘Most Played’ list. I can say from direct experience that Across the Obelisk fits this mold perfectly and I don’t think we could have asked for a better game for our premiere. I’m looking forward to sharing more Paradox Arc titles with everyone soon - and to inviting more developers to work with us.”
