Swedish software vendor Hansoft has announced that Ubisoft's Paris studio has chosen the latest version of its self-titled project management software to manage its 200 team members. Sharing the same name as the company, Hansoft is used for managing tasks and collaboration on a day by day basis by programmers, artists, project managers and producers. The software’s latest release, version 5.0, introduces a bug tracking tool that is designed to “help integrate the QA process closer with development.” Hansoft officials add that the addition also makes possible real-time integration with other bug databases and systems. The software is most often used by executives for portfolio management and by clients and outsourcing partners to be closely involved in the production without having access to its all parts. Said Ubisoft producer Gaël Seydoux, “Hansoft’s fast and easy, state-of-the-art functionality strengthens our project management capabilities and enhances our studio efficiency."
