Streamline Studios Adds Haldar, Wang To Expand Business

Netherlands-based production management studio Streamline Studios has added two new execs to its business development team to help expand its partnerships.

Netherlands-based production management studio Streamline Studios has added two new execs to its business development team. Neil Haldar, previously vice president at MGM studios, will take responsibility for growing Streamline's relationships with Hollywood studios seeking to establish themselves in the games industry. He has 17 years' experience as a dealmaker, he has worked with SkyZone Entertainment, GT Interactive, Sierra Online and Dynamix. Former Disney Interactive Studios executive producer and emerging markets production director Che-Yuan Wang comes on board to identify new partner studios and business opportunities in emerging markets. He has also held business development and tech roles with Midway, Infinite Machine, LucasArts and Parallax Software over the past 16 years. Streamline says digital assets and content created by its studio have appeared in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, Gears of War and Unreal Tournament, among others.. The studio has seen its revenue grow 45 percent year over year, and it says it will continue to seek artists, programmers, production management and business development staff. Streamline president and CEO Alexander Fernandez says that 2009 is a "transition year" for the games industrym wherein business models will increasingly implement co-production setups that need more content partners. "We've seen fantastic growth and are using our position to add extremely talented senior business development executives to the company in order to address the two most rapidly growing markets for content creation," says Fernandez.
