Casual and advergaming developer Arkadium has announced the hiring of former GameTrust vet and East Coast Casual Games Association advisor Neal Sinno as its new VP of business developer to explore and develop new strategic partnerships. Arkadium says Sinno "brings over ten years of extensive experience in business and product development, along with robust knowledge in web-based applications, platforms and technology positions." Apart from his position with Real Arcade-acquired GameTrust, Sinno has held what Arkadium calls "key leadership roles" at LivePerson, Mellon Financial, The New York Times and Lucent Technologies. As reported last year, Arkadium has a multi-year agreement with magazine publisher Hearst Corporation to develop web-based games for some of the publisher's most popular properties, beginning with Seventeen, CosmoGIRL! and Teen. Said Sinno, “Arkadium has such an incredible vision for taking casual gaming to the next level, and I am looking forward to making that vision a reality. The expertise and talent in this company is amazing, and collectively we will all work together to help make our clients and partners even more successful.”
