MTV has announced the winners for its 22nd annual Video Music Awards, and Konami's Dance Dance Revolution Extreme came out the winner in a 'Best Video Game Soundtrack' category, which was largely devoted to licensed soundtracks rather than original scores. The nominated soundtracks were Def Jam: Fight for New York, Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, Dance Dance Revolution Extreme, Tony Hawk's Underground 2, and Madden 2005, and DDR Extreme, whose tracklisting included 46 initially available songs, including Junior Senior's "Move Your Feet", Akira Yamaoka feat. Elsewhere in the awards, Green Day was the top winner of the night winning six Moon Men. The group's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" garnered "Video of the Year," "Best Group Video," "Best Rock Video," "Best Direction in a Video," "Best Editing in a Video," and "Best Cinematography.
