The 2022 Game Developers Conference organizers are thrilled to announce that the incredible Alanah Pearce will be joining us as our host for this year's in-person and virtual show!

Alanah is a writer, producer, content creator, voice actor, and personality who has shared her passion for video games and pop culture on international radio, television, and the internet for over a decade.

The epitome of a multi-hyphenate, she currently works full-time as a video game writer—all while executive-producing multiple podcasts, running YouTube's largest female-led gaming editorial channel, and streaming on Twitch. In addition, Alanah has voiced characters in some of the biggest games of recent years, including Cyberpunk 2077 and Gears 5.

In 2020, Alanah raised nearly $1 million dollars through her Charity Streams, and she was selected as one of the Forbes' "30 Under 30" in 2021. She also runs the annual Video Game Accessibility Awards, an awards show that honors games and studios that did the most to make their games available to all types of players.

Alanah will emcee the Main Stage at GDC 2022, taking place from March 21-25 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. This year’s event will deliver the industry’s greatest source of content and connections—with plenty of exciting talks, sessions, and networking events. For those attending virtually (March 21-April 1), Alanah will be on your screen through Swapcard—showing off some of the top highlights at the event!
