Zona Inc. announced today that the company has joined the Xbox Tools and Middleware Program.

The company gains the right to develop an Xbox version of its massively multiplayer online game server and network technology, Terazona. Terazona’s distributed network architecture can support 32,000 users in a game, according to Zona. Zona’s Application Framework emphasizes scalability, fault-tolerance, and security for MMOG developers.
