Vue4 Professional—3D Scenery Studio

E-on Software today launched Vue 4 Professional, a Windows and Mac OS X application for building sophisticated, realistic scenery. Vue4 Professional is a stand-alone product, but integrates directly with the expected set of 3D modelling and animation tools, including 3ds Max, Maya, Lightwave, Cinema4D, and Softimage. In addition to tools for creating realistic terrain, Vue4 includes a vegetation synthesis module, Solidgrowth, that allows you not only to design plants (it comes with over 30 species), but to animate them (to sway in a breeze, for example). Other features include network rendering, a volumetric atmosphere system, a scripting and an animation system. Vue 4 Professional retails for $599 with a special introductory price of $499.
