Vivendi Universal Games, comprised of Blizzard, Sierra, Universal Interactive Studios and the Flipside Network, has named a new CEO.
Kenneth Cron, formerly CEO of Flipside, takes over for Hubert Joly who had been filling a duel role as Vivendi Universal Games CEO and Senior Vice President, North American Integration, at Vivendi Universal. Cron will oversee and direct the games division's global strategy while looking to advance the division's development of key brand franchises, focusing on the strategic objectives of cross-platform distribution, global expansion and the development of online subscription-model content.
