Vicon's IQ is designed to lessen the need for manual intervention during the production of motion capture data. IQ generates an kinematic model of each performer that allows the system to maintain biomechanically realistic motion of the complete skeleton during heavy occlusions. Vicon IQ works with Vicon's 8i systems and M-series cameras, simultaneously capturing and recording video and a high-resolution data stream in real-time. IQ keeps all captured data intact throughout the process, and automatically refers to it if ambiguities arise. Vicon iQ is in operation at beta-test sites, with full release scheduled for later this year.
