Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has made an utterly unsurprisingly entry into the number one spot in this week's UK sales chart, accompanied by the usual media scare stories – including a prime time UK documentary on the evils of video games earlier in the week. There has been little other movement in the charts, with publishers wisely moving other new releases out of direct competition with Rockstar’s leviathan. Pro Evolution Soccer 4 continues to perform better than expected, though, and the release of the patched version of the EA's Tiger Woods for PlayStation 2 , following a PAL-specific showstopping bug in release versions, has seen the game regain its place in the charts. The only other new entry in the all-formats top twenty is the Square Enix created Drakengard, at number twelve. Take-Two published the game earlier in the year to general sales apathy, but its re-release now as an unofficial budget title perhaps echoes the company’s success with the low-priced ESPN range of sports titles in the U.S.
