There have been few surprises in the latest UK video game sales charts, with Electronic Arts’ 2006 FIFA World Cup game still easily retaining its number one position. Two other soccer titles also occupy the top five - Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 5 and Eidos' Championship Manager 2006, while Animal Crossing: Wild World for DS continues to perform well by moving up three places. The highest new entry of the week is X-Men: The Official Game, just in advance of the new movie’s release in the UK. Despite the movie already being out in the UK, though, The Da Vinci Code game only managed to enter at number twelve. Other new entries in the top forty include Eidos’ action title Urban Chaos: Riot Response at number seventeen, with PSP title Daxter re-entering at number twenty-three after a relatively sluggish initial launch. Finally, hardcore PC role-playing title Heroes of Might & Magic V debuts at number thirty-three.
