Electronic Arts’ Battlefield 2 has remained at the top of the U.S. PC sales charts for the third month running, although once again there has been a relative lack of competition to challenge it. The highest ranked new entry is Microsoft’s Dungeon Siege II, at No. 5. Beyond this, the rest of the top ten is identical to the previous month with the other titles merely shuffling position slightly. Further down the list, the highest new entry is Madden NFL 06 at No. 11, followed by Mall of America Tycoon at 13 and Seaworld Adventure Parks Tycoon 2 at 20. With little of note having been released in September, the PC chart is not likely to face a major shake-up until October, when prominent titles such as Black & White 2, The Movies, Fable: The Lost Chapters (the latter all from U.K. developer Lionhead) and F.E.A.R. are all likely to make a significant impact.
