Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
Former Origin production VP Jeff Anderson is joining Asheron’s Call developer Turbine Entertainment as President and CEO, replacing retiring CEO Ed Barron.
At Origin, Anderson managed Ulitma Online and spearheaded the development of Ultima Online 2. Also joining the Turbine executive management team are David Bowman as vice president of production and Michael Steele as vice president of technology, both promoted from within. “Jeff brings proven industry leadership that will raise Turbine's success to levels we haven’t even dreamed of yet,” said outgoing CEO Ed Barron, “His skills will help advance Turbine’s competitive strategies and keep us ahead of the curve in the cutthroat online game market of tomorrow.”
