[Sister site FingerGaming rounds up the week's most popular paid and free iPad gaming applications on the App Store as of today, with Clickgamer's Modern Conflict HD and Angry Birds HD overtaking last week's chart champion Osmos.] This week's top paid titles are: 1. Modern Conflict HD ($2.99) 2. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 3. Shrek Kart HD ($0.99) 4. Osmos for iPad ($4.99) 5. Spider: Bryce Manor HD ($4.99) 6. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99) 7. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($9.99) 8. Flight Control HD ($4.99) 9. Fruit Ninja HD ($4.99) 10. Words With Friends HD ($2.99) Clickgamer's iPad strategy title Modern Conflict HD and its physics-based action game Angry Birds HD lead as today's biggest-selling iPad games. Last week's chart champion Osmos falls to fourth place, landing behind a heavily discounted Shrek Kart HD. Tiger Style's recently released iPad version of Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor takes fifth place after being featured as Apple's iPad App of the Week. EA's Scrabble for iPad follows at sixth place, as PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies leads over Flight Control, Fruit Ninja, and Words With Friends. Here are this week's top free iPad applications: 1. iQuarters 2. Glyder 2 for iPad 3. Stick Golf HD 4. Real Solitaire Free for iPad 5. Trundle HD 6. WordSearch Unlimited HD Free 7. Chess Free HD 8. Hangman Classic HD Free 9. Harbor Master HD 10. Matrix Balls Incredible Technologies heads today's free iPad game charts with its universal app iQuarters, which is available as a free download for a limited time. Glu's Glyder 2 also ranks high after going free for a day, as last week's chart winners Stick Golf HD and Real Solitaire Free drop to third and fourth place. WordSearch Unlimited and Hangman Classic continue to do well in the daily sales rankings after making their chart debuts last week. Harbor Master HD returns to the top ten at ninth place, meanwhile, as the free puzzler Matrix Balls trails at tenth.
