Every week, sister iPhone and iPad site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Sony's Wheel of Fortune Platinum and THQ's Star Wars: Battle for Hoth rise up the iPhone rankings, as Spider: Bryce Manor HD makes an impressive debut on the iPad. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are: 1. Angry Birds ($0.99) 2. Wheel of Fortune Platinum ($1.99) 3. Bejeweled 2 ($2.99) 4. Tetris ($2.99) 5. Doodle Jump ($0.99) 6. Star Wars: Battle for Hoth ($2.99) 7. Modern Combat: Sandstorm ($0.99) 8. Plants vs. Zombies ($2.99) 9. Street Fighter IV ($6.99) 10. Fruit Ninja ($0.99) Sony's Wheel of Fortune Platinum moves in to challenge Angry Birds for this week's top chart spot, earning fast sales following a recent drop in price to 99 cents. The title remains a big seller even after an increase to $1.99, outselling chart mainstays Bejeweled 2, Tetris, and Doodle Jump. Archetype and Doodle God drop out of the top ten after promising debuts last week, as THQ's tower defense title Star Wars: Battle for Hoth overtakes Plants vs. Zombies and a discounted Modern Combat: Sandstorm for sixth place. Here are this week’s top-grossing iPad applications: 1. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 2. Osmos ($4.99) 3. Spider: Bryce Manor HD ($4.99) 4. Modern Conflict HD ($1.99) 5. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99) 6. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($9.99) 7. Zombie Farm (Free) 8. Tap Fish (Free) 9. Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge Special Edition for iPad ($9.99) 10. Real Racing HD ($9.99) Clickgamer's Angry Birds HD retakes the top sales spot in this week's iPad chart, pushing last week's biggest-grossing game Osmos to second place. An enhanced iPad version of Tiger Style's Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor finishes third in its debut week, outselling Clickgamer's strategy title Modern Conflict and EA's Scrabble for iPad. The free-to-play casual tgames Zombie Farm and Tap Fish continue to rack up impressive microtransaction sales, as Monkey Island 2 edges out Real Racing HD at ninth place.
