Every week, sister iPhone and iPad site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Smurfs' Village and Cut the Rope leading iPhone sales, while Robokill emerges as a top seller on the iPad. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are: 1. Smurfs' Village (Free) 2. Angry Birds ($0.99) 3. Cut the Rope ($0.99) 4. Restaurant Story (Free) 5. Tap Zoo (Free) 6. Texas Poker (Free) 7. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit ($4.99) 8. FarmVille (Free) 9. Kingdoms at War (Free) 10. Haypi Kingdom (Free) Capcom's microtransaction-supported simulation title Smurfs' Village currently earns more daily revenue than Rovio's longtime chart leader Angry Birds, and ranks as today's highest-grossing iPhone game. TeamLava's Restaurant Story, Streetview Labs' Tap Zoo, and Texas Poker also report big microtransaction earnings this week, while EA's Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit beats FarmVille, Kingdoms of War, and Haypi Kingdom in its first week of release. Tetris for iPad ($7.99) Angry Birds HD remains the iPad's highest-grossing game, fending off recent challengers like Wandake's overhead-view shooter Robokill and Smule's music simulation title Magic Fiddle. Gameloft's newly released iPad version of Spider-Man: Total Mayhem takes fifth place in this week's charts, outselling established favorites like Plants vs. Zombies, Cut the Rope HD, and Fruit Ninja HD.
