Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
TDK Mediactive announced results for the quarter which ended December 31, posting $827,825 in net income (4 cents per share) on $16.5 million in revenues.
This represents a 329% increase in revenues over the same period last year. "The results reflect the strong sales of Shrek for Microsoft's Xbox and Shrek: Fairy Tale Freakdown for Nintendo Game Boy Color," said Vincent Bitetti, CEO of TDK Mediactive. "Our revenues were also enhanced by republishing revenues for products distributed in Europe. For 2002, we expect to see an acceleration of video game hardware system penetration and anticipate that our licensing agreements with DreamWorks, Mattel, DC Comics and Hallmark will provide even more momentum going into what we believe will be a period of significant growth for our industry."
