Superscape today announced that its Swerve software is the first commercial product to support the latest 3D Java API—JSR 184, which is now known as Mobile 3D Graphics API. This 3D graphics API resulted from an Expert Group consisting of ARM, Nokia, Siemens, Sony Ericcson, Superscape, Motorola, and Vodafone. Swerve supports ARM 9 and higher processors, and can take advantage of OpenGL ES support in phones for hardware acceleration, if available.
