Representatives from Square Enix have announced that the company has acquired American wireless developer UIEvolution. The two companies signed a strategic partnership last year, with Square Enix investing $6 million into the developer. This new deal though will see UIEvolution becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Square Enix USA. Although Square Enix has released a number of mobile phone products in Japan it has launched only one in the US and none in Europe. Source: gamesindustry.biz
