The latest update to Sony's PlayStation Network has added new PS3 and PSP content, including the fully downloadable Ape Escape minigame/RPG PSP spin-off Ape Quest and a patch containing new features for PS3 shooter Super Stardust HD. In addition to a free demo of Super Stardust HD, Sony's PS3 store has added an updated full version of the game, giving players the ability to use custom soundtracks within the game, and a new online leaderboard that now tracks session time and difficulty level. The PS3 store has also added two new sidequest add-on packs for its action/adventure Folklore, this week's Rock Band track updates, and new Need for Speed ProStreet content. Demo content this week includes Eidos's Kane and Lynch, and the PSOne Classics section has received Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. Finally, PSN has added a new downloadable PSP title, Ape Quest, the latest spin-off of Sony's first party Ape Escape franchise. An RPG/adventure with minigame battles, the game, exclusively available online, offers a free prologue chapter, and three additional main-game chapters purchased separately at $9.99 each, or as a bundle for $19.99.
