Sony Computer Entertainment Partners with RSA for Online Security

Sony has announced an alliance with RSA Security to bring that company’s Internet communication and data storage encryption systems to the Playstation 2.

Sony will incorporate RSA’s Bsafe SSL-C and Crypo-C encryption software to secure online browsing and transactions as well as the PS2’s upcoming hard drive. Bsafe SSL-C will be included in Sony SDK’s used for creating Internet-based application for PS2.
