Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s Soho Studio and Pixel Lab have announced a London, England-based course taking place from November 28 to December 1, and giving London-based freelancers a chance to learn about the game business in detail. This four-day course is designed for those already working in the creative industries, such as post production, web-production, programming, design, TV, or film and offers a unique opportunity to grow as a professional. Participants will be shown the ropes in working as a freelancer within game industry – a chance to build new networks and learn new techniques. Speakers include Dave Raynard, SCEE; Toby Barnes, Pixel-Lab; Jon Weinbren, Imaginary Productions; Kam Memarzia, PlayGen; Rob Hendry, Ideaworks3d; Lisa de Araujo, Gameware Development; Dave Moss, Freelance Artist for Eidos; and Sian Prime from NESTA CPP.
