Singular Inversions has released FaceGen Modeller 2.1, the company's stand-alone parametric face modeling tool for Windows. FaceGen Modeller 2.1 has over 100 shape and color/texture controls, and lets you choose between 4 different head meshes and UV layouts supplied with FaceGen. FaceGen Modeller 2.1 includes these new features:
Support for real-time meshes (800, 900 and 1500 polys).
Support for higher resolution texture maps.
The ability to export to Maya ASCII, Lightwave (LWO) and LipSinc HFN.
The ability to export the full set of animation morphs for a face in one click.
The ability to export textures to BMP as well as higher-quality JPG
Support for "detail textures" to let you add more detailed skin textures.
A new "Redo" feature.
A new "Rand Lock" feature for controlling which features are generated randomly.
