Consumer gaming magazine Electronic Games Monthly has reported on what Silicon Knights, a former Nintendo second-party developer, has been doing since its departure from Nintendo. The company is currently working on its long-in-development Too Human project as a trilogy of games for Microsoft to publish on the Xbox 360. The Too Human project originated on the PlayStation, with company president Denis Dyack mentioning it in interviews at the time as Silicon Knights' next game after Eternal Darkness. However, with Eternal Darkness' delays -- originally meant to be a Nintendo 64 project, it eventually saw release on the GameCube -- the developer was unable to return until now. Silicon Knights also has a next-generation project in the works to be published by Sega, but this appears to be different from the Too Human trilogy. However, all of the new games from the Ontario, Canada-based Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes developer will likely take advantage of the Unreal Engine 3, since Silicon Knights recently announced its intentions to use it for upcoming titles. The first game in the Too Human trilogy is planned for fall 2006.
