The editors of Serious Games Source, a sister website to Gamasutra aimed specifically for the 'serious games' market (games created for training, health, government, military, educational and other uses), are happy to announce that the site will host a special live chat on Wednesday October 18 from 2-3 pm EST. The online community chat will feature Serious Games Summit content director Ben Sawyer, who will discuss the state of the serious games space as well as this year's Serious Games Summit D.C (SGS DC), which will take place from October 30-31 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA. Digitalmill co-founder Sawyer, who also serves as co-director of both the Serious Games Initiative and Games for Health, will also run a session during the upcoming SGS DC event titled “Serious Stuff Gamers Do,” and will no doubt address some of the topics he intends to cover during that event as part of this online chat. Those interested in taking part in the chat should simply login to their Serious Games Source Community account from the Serious Games Source website, and navigate to the Chat Room.
