Sega’s decision to exit the hardware market is translating to layoffs for Sega of America.

The company has cut jobs in departments tied to the Dreamcast console, largely in the marketing and quality assurance areas. Though he declined to provide the actual number of jobs cut, Sega’s Charles Bellfield characterized it as a “relatively small number.”
