Officials from Sammy Studios have announced the launch of a new headquarters and game development studio in Carlsbad, California. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 66,000 square foot facility company president Jon Rowe said, “Our goal at Sammy Studios is to attract key technology and creative talent who will lead our product development into the future. Today we employ nearly 100 people, and in the next 18 months we will double that number.” Parent company Sammy Corporation is projecting revenues of $2 billion for this year and is one of the most profitable amusement and entertainment companies in Japan.
