3D graphics tools developer, RTzen, has announced the release of the latest milestone release of its programmable hardware shader creation and editing tool, RT/shader: Ginza. This new version of RT/shader: Ginza includes new render-to-texture effect authoring, allowing users to quickly create blur, shadows, and dynamic reflection and refraction effects. It also comes with improved 3DS Max connectivity, with tweakable parameters easily available for the artist inside of the 3DS Max material editor, as well as a custom high-level shader graph filter, parallax mapping, and a new lighting model. This new version of RT/shader: Ginza will be available starting on November 19th, 2004, and comes in both a full version, and with the ability to purchase the tool's 3DS Max plug-in on its own.
