Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in an exclusively compiled list. This week brings the North American releases of Space Invaders Extreme and Secret Agent Clank, as the UK hosts the worldwide premieres of Alone in the Dark and Overlord: Raising Hell. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending June 21st, 2008. Games Released in the United States:

It's a slow release week for a majority of platforms in the United States, with Wacky Races: Crash & Dash and Deadliest Catch: Alaskan Storm premiering as this week's only console offerings. PC owners can look forward to Stardock's The Political Machine 2008, along with the Spore prerelease toolset Spore Creature Creator. Portable consoles account for the bulk of this week's U.S. release activity. The PSP is set to receive the Ratchet & Clank series spinoff Secret Agent Clank, along with Space Invaders Extreme -- an acclaimed Pac-Man Championship Edition-styled remake of Taito's arcade classic. Nintendo DS owners can additionally look forward to a revival of Taito's Arkanoid and the Atlus-published dungeon crawler sequel Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard. Next week will bring rhythm action to Nintendo consoles with a Nintendo Wii port of Rock Band and the Nintendo DS release of Guitar Hero: On Tour, while Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners receive the FPS sequel Battlefield: Bad Company. Games Released in Europe:

Atari's multiplatform franchise refresh Alone in the Dark arrives in the UK this week, several days in advance of its scheduled U.S. release. A PS3 port of the title is also planned, though no solid release date is yet known for any region. This week will additionally bring to Europe the worldwide premieres of Konami's New International Track & Field and an expanded PS3 edition of Overlord, along with the special edition UK release of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Games Released in Japan:

Nintendo's Mario Superstar Baseball sequel Super Mario Stadium: Family Baseball headlines this week's Japanese lineup, accompanied by the multiplatform release of Koei's adventure franchise follow-up Harukanaru Jikuu no Kade 4. The Nintendo DS will receive Idea Factory's Spectral series sequel Spectral Force Genesis and a selection of educational releases, meanwhile, as Banpresto serves up the latest sequel in its Super Robot Taisen franchise on the PSP.
