Think Services, the organizers of the Game Developers Conference, and Connection Events announced today that registration for the Paris Game Developers Conference (Paris GDC) is now live via its website. Paris GDC 08 is the 2nd French edition of the Game Developers Conference and will be held on June 23-24 in Paris at the Coeur Défense Convention Center. The two-day event will offer more than 50 sessions presented by industry experts and designed specifically for developers looking to expand their expertise, network, and learn from their peers. The event is structured around core technical expertise, with content mainly focusing on state-of-the-art current generation console and PC development, including multi-platform development. Topics will also explore the various challenges of the industry from casual to core gamers. Sessions will drill down into the five main development disciplines through dedicated tracks: Programming/Coding, Game Design, Visual Arts, Production and Business/Management. "After the success of the first French GDC held in Lyon in 2007, we are convinced that both national and international top developers will gather at Paris GDC in June. We want this conference to be the European key meeting place to present and discuss the technical issues of the video game industry,” says Pierre Carde, Executive Director of Paris GDC. Conference attendees who wish to take advantage of the super early bird registration rate should register by April 23rd.
