Red Mile Entertainment (Jackass: The Game) has announced it will bring the latest title in the Heroes flight combat franchise, Heroes Over Europe, to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. The title is being developed by Melbourne, Australia-based Heatseeker developer Transmission Games (formerly known as IR Gurus), and will be powered by an unspecified "all-new engine." Heroes Over Europe follows the stories of three Allied pilots in World War II, from the invasion of France to the devastation of Berlin in 1945. It will feature new game modes unique to the franchise and a more comprehensive focus on online play. The console version of the game is expected to be available in Fall 2008, while the Windows PC version will ship in early 2009. Red Mile president and COO Glenn Wong said, "Heroes of the Pacific established Red Mile as a leading publisher in the air combat genre. Transmission Games is building on the excellent groundwork it laid with the first game, and based on what we've seen so far, it looks set to deliver a truly stunning follow-up that will thrill armchair pilots everywhere."
