The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
Real Networks is planning to launch the final version of its Real Arcade video game software including a new online game rental section.
The system, which uses technology for streaming games rather than downloading them, will allow users to rent PC-based videogames and play them online. The rental system was not present in the beta version of the Real Arcade video software, which launched in May. The rental section will launch with 11 games, including titles like Deus Ex and Unreal Tournament. The Real Arcade software is free, but will cost $4.99 to rent access to one game for one week, or $14.99 to access all of the games on the site for one month.
