Sony is continuing the Asian rollout of its PS2, as the console begins selling in Taiwan today.
Timed with the Taiwan launch, the company announced that it will begin selling the PlayStation2 in South Korea on February 22. A company executive said that Sony hopes to sell approximately 150,000 consoles in South Korea by the end of March. There are currently over 23 million PS2 consoles worldwide, according to Sony.
