Representatives from Burbank, CA quality assurance facility Testronic Laboratories have announced that the company has merged its US and Poland based operations with Belgian-headquartered multimedia and game testing specialists Professional Multimedia Test Center (PMTC). In addition to its offices in the US and Poland, Testronic also operates facilities in the U.K. at Pinewood Studios and in central London, as well as in Belgium. Today's news follows Testronic Laboratories' recent appointment of industry veteran Seth Hallen as the company's senior vice president as a prelude to the company's plans to further grow its games testing capabilities. Testronics Laboratories' specialty is providing QA services and consultancy to the DVD, video, audio, games, e-learning, communications and new-media industries. Based in Diepenbeek, Belgium, PMTC’s games testing department, on the other hand, offers a one-stop-shop, cross platform QA solution for PC, console and mobile platforms. “We are proud that the shareholders of PMTC and Testronic Labs recently reached an agreement to join forces,” said Neil Goodall, Group CEO. “This will strengthen our ambition to become the QA company of choice for all media-related industries, testing any content over any medium to any end device.”
