Facial animation software technology firm Lifemode Interactive have announced the availability of a new lipsync animation software package, Lifestudio: Lipsynch. This new software package offers an automatic lipsynching tool that can be used within the Maya package for automatically animating speaking characters. Lifestudio: Lipsynch offers impressive animation results that can be achieved in minutes, saving an artist a tremendous amount of time. The software works by preparing lipsynch data according to a record of speech. This data can be used as an input to a deformer of user’s choice that affects the character face mesh: it may be blendshapes, driven keys, etc. Scripts may be effectively used thanks to a simple data structure. “We are very pleased to add Lifestudio: Lipsynch to our portfolio of products,” commented Alex Sychev, Director of Production. “In Lifemode Interactive we do our best to serve the interactive entertainment community and develop tools and technologies to make life easier for 3D artists and game developers. Our new Lifestudio: Lipsynch is a remarkable tool that will stand out from all available suchlike tools in the market not only because of its high-quality lipsync but also of the simplistic functionality.”
