Ubisoft also confirmed that it and Free Radical, the developers behind the Timesplitters series will be announcing a new project in development at E3. On top of yesterday's announcement of Assassin’s Creed for the PlayStation 3, the company also announced that it's E3 presence will be complimented by Brothers In Arms Hell’s Highway, the third game in Gearbox Software's WWII action franchise, and the first to be developed for next-generation consoles, as well as Dark Messiah of Might & Magic for the PC and Enchanted Arms, a new Japanese action RPG developed by From Software for the Xbox 360. The latest game in the popular Splinter Cell franchise, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent, is in development for both current and next-gen platforms, and will make an appearance on the floor, as will the video game adaptation of Sony Pictures Animation’s feature-length CGI film Open Season. Another Tom Clancy series, Rainbow Six, is also getting a sequel that will be shown at E3 in the form of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas, currently in development at the company's Montreal studio for release on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Finally, Ubisoft will be showing off two titles for Nintendo's Wii console at E3. The first is the previously announced Red Steel, a first-person shooter built to take advantage of the Wii's unique controller. The second game is the latest in the company's storied Rayman franchise, Rayman Raving Rabbids, which is being developed by series originator Michel Ancel. “Our E3 lineup demonstrates Ubisoft’s profound commitment to the next-generation of video games,” said Yves Guillemot, president and chief executive officer of Ubisoft. “Ubisoft is very excited to be introducing ground-breaking new intellectual property and showcasing how we bring innovation to our best-selling franchises. Our award-winning development teams are pushing the limits of what can be achieved and leading the industry into the future.”
