Planetweb Incorporates Personal Java Technology into its Browser

Planetweb has announced the inclusion of Personal Java technology as part of the Planetweb Internet Browser version 3.0 for the Sega Dreamcast. This development sets the stage for the deployment of the Java technology across all Planetweb-enabled devices including other gaming consoles and DVD players. The Personal Java platform allows developers to create Java technology-based applications for multiple multi-platform devices. The Planetweb Internet Browser v3.0 is now available to the four million Sega Dreamcast users.
