Nvidia released the latest version of its unified driver set, the Nvidia Detonator 40, for all Nvidia processors on desktops, mobile devices and workstations (with the exception of GeForce2 Go and GeForce4 Go mobile processors). The new Detonator 40 drivers contain these features:

  • Up to a 25% improvement in the performance of consumer and professional applications

    • nView 2.0 multi-display technology

    • NVRotate, to enable image rotation on flat-panel displays

    • NVKeystone, which supports real-time image correction on portable projectors and heads-up displays

    • Digital Vibrance Control 2, which allows users to adjust color controls to achieve accurate, bright colors under all conditions

    • A new CineFX hardware emulator that allows developers to create cinematic effects for Nvidia's next-generation graphics technologies, yet have them rendered on Nvidia's current family of GPUs. The new Detonator drivers are freely available at http://www.nvidia.com/drivers.
