Square Enix’s hired a new senior VP of sales and marketing and a new director of biz development at its North American office, in a shake-up of the executive team aimed at expanding the publisher’s business in the U.S. and with local developers. Ron Scott will take on the sales and marketing role and will be responsible for the day-to-day sales and marketing operations at Square Enix, Inc. His previous roles include executive producer at Conspiracy Entertainment and senior producer at THQ on franchises including WWE Wrestling, MTV Extreme Sports, and Bass Anglers Sportsman Society Fishing.
