NDL announced today that is has issued a publishing license for its Gamebryo 3D engine and toolkit to Vivendi Universal Games.
Under the agreement, Vivendi’s development teams will have access to NDL’s graphics technology, formerly known as NetImmerse before it relaunched as Gamebryo earlier this year, across all console platforms and PC. NDL indicated that details regarding specific Vivendi development teams and titles utilizing NDL’s technology would be forthcoming. Other NDL customers include Firaxis Games, Mythic Entertainment, and Irrational Games.
