Representatives from South Korean MMORPG developer NCsoft have announced plans to expand into Europe. After gaining considerable success with City of Heroes in the US, the company will be opening a wholly-owned subsidiary in London with a £3.2 million ($5.9) investment. The new subsidiary will be headed by Geoffrey Heath, who is currently chairman of Climax and has a long history at European branches of companies such as Activision, Origin and Maxis. The company already has operations in the US, Japan, Taiwan, China and Thailand but has previously had no direct representation in Europe. The new European headquarters will enable the release of City of Heroes and Lineage II across Europe, before the end of the year. Source: MCV
